Machines: Singer Silver 2001; Janome 744D; Singer Model 12 or "New Family Sewing Machine"
Skill level: Intermediate (but I charge into all projects telling myself I can do anything!)
Favourite fabric: I have a terrible soft spot for velvet [look right!]
Favourite project: The tutu I made for my A-level. It's the most time consuming thing I've ever made! Never again will I iron 1/2" pleats into 30m of tulle.
At age 11 I begged my mum for my first sewing machine and have had the sewing bug ever since. I'm now in my final year of uni and when I'm not studying (or should be studying!) I sew anything from leather bags to ball dresses, or more recently, I like to knit. Also, if you hadn't guessed already, I quite like the colour pink...
